Zane Weeks
Founder & Managing Attorney
Zane Weeks is the founder and managing attorney of the Law Office of Zane Weeks, PLLC, a Houston firm focused on personal injury, criminal defense, parole representation, and consumer debt defense
Zane was born in Japan to two military parents, both of whom served full careers and retired from the armed forces. He grew up in San Antonio, and that upbringing shaped how he practices law: show up prepared, keep your word, and serve the people who depend on you.
He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houstonin 2018 and his Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2022. After law school, he built his firm from the ground up as a solo practitioner. He developed parallel practices in personal injury and criminal defense and later added a growing parole division.
The managing Attorney
Professional Background
On the criminal side, Zane is approved for court appointments in Harris County and represents clients charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses. He is a graduate of the Texas Future Indigent Defense Leaders (FIDL) program, which trains attorneys committed to raising the standard of public defense across the state. On the civil side, he handles injury claims from pre-suit negotiation through litigation. He also defends consumers facing debt collection lawsuits through the Veritas Legal Plan.
Zane is licensed by the State Bar of Texas. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Texas. He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA) and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCDLA)
His approach is assertive and preparation-driven. He believes every client deserves an attorney who knows the file better than the other side and who fights for the best possible outcome. He does that without losing sight of the person behind the case.
When he’s not in court, you’ll probably find him defending the Dallas Cowboys, which he considers his toughest case.
